Merry X-Mas Kit 1

Yesterday I finished my ALDI X-Mas kit.

I used MADEIRA metallic thread 4014 and 4057 (a free cover gift from 

The World of Cross Stitching issue 261) for the ornaments and leaves.

It was tricky to stitch!!!

Now I have to buy a little 6" (15 cm) hoop and a festive ribbon.

Merry Christmas Kit

Here are photos of my ALDI cross stitch kit Merry Christmas.

It is a simple but nice design. I have red and green MADEIRA metallic thread

which I will use also for this kit.

Blue Bird

I have stitched a blue bird.

Designed by Anette Eriksson.

I used blue variegated thread.

I am not sure what I do with my bird...

Mushrooms - Lunchbag

Here is a photo of my new lunchbag.

It is a polka-dot oilcloth one with I decorated with 4 mushroom buttons.

Found the buttons (cross stitch style) in my local haberdahy shop.

Cross Stich Crazy - Emma

My niece Emma (9 years old) was featured in 

Cross Stitch Crazy (September issue - 232).

As a thank you for sending a photo

she received a Fiskars scissors.

Matryoska Keyring

I have stitched a little Matryoska (a Russian doll).

This wooden keyring was a free gift by Cross Stitcher Magazine.

I changed the colour of the rose.
