Here is a photo of my new lunchbag.
It is a polka-dot oilcloth one with I decorated with 4 mushroom buttons.
Found the buttons (cross stitch style) in my local haberdahy shop.

Crazy for.......- Laundrette project part 5

Hello,

I have finished the half of my squeaky clean charts!

I am really pleased about the result.
I really like the bright colours on the rustic aida fabric.

Of course I will also stitch rest of Lucie Heaton's designs!

Have a nice bank holiday weekend!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy for ..... - Laundrette project part 2

Here is an update of my laundrette project.

For the  backstich I used 2 strands and for the apron,
feather duster and the washing up liquid 3.

I will stitch everything in very bright colours.

I am not sure about the apron.
For the apron I used a purple variation thread.

What do you think????

Have a nice day

Crazy for.......- Laundrette project part 1

In our caravan at the Belgium seaside I have no washing machine
so I go once or twice a week to a laundrette.

I tought it would be funny to have a laundrette-project.
Lucie Heaton designed some squeaky clean charts (apron, duster....).

The designs are not so complicate  -

perfect for me so I can chat and stitch in the laundrette!!!!!!

For this project I will use only stash materials.

Have a nice day

Always Time for Tea Hanger

This "Always Time For Tea" hanger was my 2. cross stitch project.

It was a free gift by The World of Cross Stitching Magazine.

Stitch Count: 59 high x 23 wide
Design size: 10,5 x 4 cm

I really like this little cute hanger. Maybe I add some little miniature cups to the hanger. It's a fab project for the kitchen / dinning area.

Have a nice day,

Sonja
