This was the last part of the Emma Congdon's Stay in tough serie.

Maybe I will add it on an address book or I will sew a phone case.

Letterbox - part 2

Finished my letterbox!

Now I have to buy DMC 666 so I can stitch the red telephone box.

At the moment I work on Emma Congdon's letterbox chart.

The letterbox belongs to the stay in tough project 

(Cross Stitcher Magazine July 2017).

I will stitch also the 3. chart. A red telephone box.

Hope I have enough red threads.

I use DMC 321, 666 and 815.

Stay in tough - Finished

Finished my first big Emma Congdon cross stitch project.

I will frame it in a light-blue or white picture frame.

It is for my Dad's 75. birthday in November.

I am not a fast stitcher. The magazine says 35 hours for it.

Here is a photo of my new project.

(his birthday is in November so I have lots of time for other projects)

Matryoska Keyring

I have stitched a little Matryoska (a Russian doll).

This wooden keyring was a free gift by Cross Stitcher Magazine.

I changed the colour of the rose.

I think it looks nice in the little white owl picture-frame.

Magnetic Board

Here is a photo of my 5 minute craft project. I pimped a magnetic board 

(free gift / Cross Stitcher Magazine) which I found in a charity shop.

Beach House with Seagulls

Yesterday I have finally finished my beach house

(Cross Stitcher Magazine - August 2011

designed by Lucie Heaton).

For the house I used 

a blue/white stripeed cushion cover (so I need no interfacing),

toy stuffing,

 glass marbles (I was scared to use rice because in the caravan/chalet 

there is a lot of moisture in the winter!!),

miniature seagulls (I put them on pins...so I can change the position...)

thick red felt,

2 charms (a life buoy - Handmade with love)

and a red /white ribbon.

I am totally pleased with the result!!!!

STICH-ALONG 2016 - Cross Stitcher Magazine

In the latest edition of Cross Stitcher Magazine (June 2016)

is the start of a new stitch-along..... 

I know I have a lot of cross stich and miniature ufos....

Yesterday I bought some thread (black and white is already in my stash)

and some beads (I can use them also for my seaside postcards)......

Bring me sunshine!!!!

This week there was a lot of rain and wind at the seaside 

so I decided to stitch the Bring me Sunshine-kit. 

And yes it works. 

Today there was no rain and a lot of sunshine!!!

The kit was designed by Jane Prutton (Cross Stitcher Magazine 294 - July 2015).

Unfortunately the evenweave fabric is to 

small to create later the fab sunglasses case.

I start stitching everything on aida fabric which I had already in my stash.

I have finished my next free cover kit.

It is a Japnese Kokeshi doll.

I am not sure to use it as a card.

Maybe I do a needlecase............

I struggle to do French knots... so I added some beads.
