Anchor Tag / My Nautical Bottle

Stitched this little anchor designed
by Veronique Enginger.

Last year I bought this little blue bottle for € 1,99 (Zeeman).
I like glass buoys but everything what I found
was to expensive (about € 30,00 and more).

My problem is that some of the tenants are not vey careful with
the decoration/accessoires!

I will not buy every week new decoration / accessoires for my chalet so I have to find cheaper ones which I can pimp (that is a real challenge).

I put it on a cream lampshape and added a little parrot
which I found for just € 1,00
(there is no pirat without a parrot).

I really like it!

Nautical Patchwork Quilt

Last week I bought me lots of pre-cut fabric in my local charity shop!
I was over the moon!!! I paid less than a fiver!!!!
I will sew a patchwork quilt / plaid for my bed!
I will stitch some of the nautical badges or little swimming costumes
(see photo 2 & 3 - I stiched them in 2015 / 2016 designed by V. Enginger)
on the checked fabric.
I have so much fabric that I can sew also some cushions.
I have never done a patchwork quilt so it is a new challenge for me.
I think with stitching and sewing I need a lot of time.
But first I will finish all my unfinished work and projects for this year.
I found a website (o.k. google has done it for me) with lots of inspirations.
Here is the link:

Have a lovely day!!!!

Annette Eriksson Oars Kit

I have finished my second Annette Eriksson oars kit.
I am not really happy about it.
I added also some backstitches but it looks so boring.
Any idea to pimp it?

Maybe to stitch the text welcome aboard??????

Have a nice sunday

Anchor Kit by Anette Eriksson

Finished my anchor kit designed by Anette Eriksson.
It looks like a sailor tattoo, or?
I added also backstitches without it was a little bit boring.
The fabric is glued into the hoop and is not very fine!
I will glue some white felt on the back and then
I will try to paint the hoop. I like grey.

On the 2. photo you can see my new kits
which I bought me from my christmas money)

Anette Eriksson Lighthouse Kit / Pillow

photos: www.anetteeriksson.com

Last week I was bargain hunting on ebay uk.
Bought me this Anette Eriksson Lighthouse kit for just
6 pounds (incl. shipping)!
In the kit is the chart, needle, ready made pillow cover with backing
and zip and navyblue thread!!!!!! The pillow is great front: 11 ct Aida,
back: navyblue fabric.

My camera is not working so I used the photos of the lighthouse kit
 from A. Eriksson website.

On the other photos you can see some of my cross stitch
projects which are in our rental seaside chalet (living room).
This year I will stitch again little projects for it.
I am not sure if I stitch the lighthouse on the pillow.....maybe I frame
it in a hoop.
I will not wash every week the pillow!!!!!

Have a nice day!!!!
