Anchor Kit by Anette Eriksson

Finished my anchor kit designed by Anette Eriksson. 

It looks like a sailor tattoo, or?

I added also backstitches without it was a little bit boring.

The fabric is glued into the hoop and is not very fine!

 I will glue some white felt on the back and then 

I will try to paint the hoop. I like grey.

Anette Eriksson Lighthouse Kit / Pillow

Last week I was bargain hunting on ebay uk. 

Bought me this Anette Eriksson Lighthouse kit for just

6 pounds (incl. shipping)! 

In the kit is the chart, needle, ready made pillow cover with backing 

and zip and navyblue thread!!!!!! The pillow is great front: 11 ct Aida, 

back: navyblue fabric.

My camera is not working so I used the photos of the lighthouse kit

 from A. Eriksson website.

On the other photos you can see some of my cross stitch 

projects which are in our rental seaside chalet (living room). 

This year I will stitch again little projects for it. 

I am not sure if I stitch the lighthouse on the pillow.....maybe I frame 

it in a hoop. 

I will not wash every week the pillow!!!!!

Here are photos of my latest project. 

I do lots of Floss & Mischief kits (designed by Genevieve Brading).

I will display them in little hoops.

Maybe I add some metallic threads for a shiny effect!

In the next days I will post also my yellow beetle and my dragonfly!

I will stitch also this bigger bug which I found in an old Cross Stitcher Magazine 

(designed by Genevieve Brading).

 I will display the little ones around the big one. 

Baby Oleg - Meerkat

For Lotta's (my niece) 1. birthday I stitched  a meerkat family (Mouseloft kit) and little bugs (designed by Genevieve Brading / Cross Stitcher Magazine). I also pimped Oleg's cot (added some ribbon). He has now a very cosy felt plaid. In my local haberdashery shop I found a little dummy (button). He is wearing the dummy only for the photo! Not that something happend!!!!

Wise Owl Kit

I have stitched a little owl (free gift Cross Stitcher Magazine).

I think it looks nice in the little white owl picture-frame.

Magnetic Board

Here is a photo of my 5 minute craft project. I pimped a magnetic board 

(free gift / Cross Stitcher Magazine) which I found in a charity shop.

Looks better now!

Christmas cards and a snowglobe

Sorry for not blogging for such a long time!

For Christmas I stiched 2 little cards and a snowglobe.

Kits: Mouseloft

The kits are really easy to stich (just a night).

Hope you like my snowglobe idea.
